Hey Mate .. *keKe* this guy ah.. Dun really remember when i knew him just know that I wasn't even developed properly man.. :p *haHa* I know what u are going to say OK? "WHEN Cecilia was ever properly developed Humph... Nah.. joke lah.. hmmm... Its been sometime since we actually sit down and have a good talk hoh.. I remember when we used to do nothing before he went into army, we will talk from midnight usually till morning .. sometimes the best part after talking he will travel all the way down from CCK to my Place in YCK.. haha..just to eat roti prata... haha.. dunno its because of the famous jalan kayu roti prata or to find me :p aiyah whatever it is.. u had been a good friend to me though I had not been lo.. U are a nice guy but maybe some of your stubborn mentality should change ah.. u should know what I talking about lah... Not all people stay the same and people do change after a few years so wat is past is past.. wat people had done for u is in the past... ok??

Guys, can all of you please look how terrible my grammer were?? Or is it still ? :p Anyway i didn't want to correct any of it just to keep the gist of the whole comment. It has really been many years and boy have i grown man! It is so amazing that how possible was it to keep up the whole night talking to a PLATONIC friend without any lust involved cause nowadays lust keeps me awake more :p JUST KIDDING! and heading out for supper/breakfat in the wee hours. It is so impossible now.. I can hardly keep up all night unless required by work or GOSSIP GIRLS.. Gosh have i grown old or what? In any case, it is a nice walk down memory lane and it definately plastered a big smile to my face!

Pernanakan Food Galore

Thanks to Justice Boy's (Official blog name) subtle effort to educate his obvious oblivious to world's news gf, he subscribed to a daily dosage of Singapore ST, which he totally regretted as his oblivious gf remained oblivious and there are now new daily addition to the mess in the house!

I chanced upon this Meritius Mandarin advertisment promoting perananakan food which i suspect they were just riding on the Glam and Galore of "Little Nonya" and being the inquisitive (read:greedy) Me, I just had to give it a try. Unfortunately with the recent addition to the working society of my almost permanent bummer friend (read: Steph), i have no one to idle with me through the endless afternoons anymore so translates into no readily available kaki to gorge with. Sadly and also happy that she found something to do.. I MEAN have you realised how bad the market is and she can still find something to do FULL TIME?
Anyway, i was so lucky that my french ambassador friend is off the hook for the day and was manupilated into going out with me. :D

The buffet is located at Chatterbox which is offically known for their world famous chicken rice and as well as their skyline city view of Singapore's Orchard Road but sadly it was pouring like crazy so the apparent awesome view was not that great under the influence of FOG. Darn.. It was very crowded when we got there, reckoned it was still lunch hour but still we managed to grab a seat without waiting at all but no window seat though we got an aisle seat instead.

Honestly, the spread was not that great. In fact out of a scale of 5 i would only give it a 2. Most of the food was repeadies. As in, Rendang something this and Redang something that. Most of the food was spicy, so u are in for serious trouble if spicy food is not yr cup of tea. And did i go into the roasted pork? Oh gosh!!! It was as tough as i DUNNO HOW TO PUT INTO WORDS! The presentation was authentic though with the nonya touch to it. Only the Laksa actually tasted quite good. There were people around dressed in Nonya attires like what we watch in the show educating patrons like us about the dishes and how about to complement them. I found that quite impressive. They really do look into details as such but probably next Theme buffet they have? GET A BETTER COOK.. Anyway its only till the 3rd so not much time to catch it, probably the next round then.

So after our not so hearty meal, we went for a movie 17 again.. well, i really liked it. Its my type of show.. easy to watch, no thrill, no plot.. Just laugh when we are suppose to and ogle throughout at Zac Efron. He is really HOT! It was a good time catching up with the French ambassodor talking about "WORLD PEACE" *roll eyes*

Anyway do take care folks! The swine flu seems really serious with headlines splashing over ST everyday..

P/s: I used to curse sometimes "u blardy swine" never knew it was a pig. hahaa... yes yes bimbotic me!

Insecurity

Word to sum up my whole life now is insecurity.

1) Work.. Dunno will get retrencehed or not.. *shake head*
2) Relationship.. Am i working towards the impossible or am i just trying too hard?
3) Studies.. DUnno am i up to the hectic crammed lifestyle once more?

Well, at least the comforting news is that i have a few no's on my fav list to dial whenever i need help.. :)

1st and Last time Vancouver!

Awesome!! It's the best word to describe this trip...

Couple of reasons...

1) Chris Tan became my full time companionship on this long long flight..

2) Our first time in CANADA.

3) We saw full bloom cherry blossoms.

4) Have the courage to walk across the world's longest suspension bridge due to my fear in height.

5) We experienced vancouver by FOOT!

6) Whistler?? Its where the Holloywood Movie stars go for their Snowy getaway and guess what i might had sat on the same gondola as Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.. :p

and many many other fun incidents although at the end of everything the returns are 2 Black Black Panda eyes...

Well well.. some background about vancouver... its the 2nd biggest asia residence in the North America which SFO is the biggest. ok seriously i dunno much la.. ask me where to sightsee i could probably tell u more.. haha..

Anyway its really different serving your love one on board.. this is actually my 2nd time.. 1st were my beloved parents and secondly Chris Tan.. I cannot help but skive just to squat beside his seat to idle, show favortisim.. well let your imginations roll... i reckon the paxes around hum must be wondering why the favortisim.. hahha..

I really dun understand why SQ charge exorbitant prices for stopovers and thus Chris Tan went up to vancouver directly while i had my night stop in Seoul.. so the first 2 nights up there was planned to be lonely for him.. but he must be counting his lucky stars cause Ng KT was on his the same flight up to Vancouver... Dunno if they went to tackle some girls or not.. humph!!! But yah aft some calling and smsing, the both of them met at the hotel lobby and even went snowboarding together at Whistler...

As it was not a daily flight i didnt manage to catch KT in vancouver as he had to take over the aircraft i came in back to seoul. Regardless It was nice seeing Chris in a foreign land waiting for me in the hotel lobby... Warm is the word to describe exactly how i felt.. Although he did looked darn tired but still manage a WELCOME smile.. keke..

Attended some farewell dinner with the whole team.. apparently its the IFS last 3rd flight.. DInner as usual was at some HK bistro.. Ok food nothing fantastic but its been a long time since so many people sat on the same dinner table... We adjourned back to the hotel after which and had an early night. Poor him didnt sleep a wink the whole night.. most prob due to Jetlagging.. but as usual i slept like a log.. haha

Next day early morning we proceeded with ATTACK VANCOUVER big plan. We basically just footed the wholeVancouver downtown. My legs were ready to break by the end of the day. Good experience. As for the 2nd day we just proceeded to capilano Suspension bridge and Whistler. YES YES we covered vancouver with just full 48 hours incl sleep. Here are some pictures to illustrate the experince.. Hey all my dear friends!!
Its just another hour to go that we countdown to a new year..
Year 2009 here we come!!

And once again on a festive day that I am not around so what is new right?? I resign to my FATE!
Well here I am in Zurich recapturing all the events that had happened in 2008.

I definitely vouch that its quite a bumpy ride but I guess closed doors opened up to more roads ahead.. By now I am pretty sure that a new road is not easy to breeze through… Sometimes comfort zone might just be nice to be in. But being the adventurous aka never satisfied with what I already have I chose the latter.

A very comfortable relationship ended. I think its time to come out of my shell and talk about it. I really did love once but don’t some of you get it?? An r/s takes two hands to clap! Its never a one sided thing???? All I wanted in a relationship happened in the last one. As usual things do get mundane, and guess what?? I was at a crossroad between a challenge and reliability. I decided to take up a new challenge by taking up a new path to look for love and passion. We really do live once isn’t it?? Why not make it a fruitful one instead of looking back and regret why at a certain point of time we did not make that particular option? I am not sorry to those who think that I might be making a wrong choice but I am grateful for those who had stood by me and have not abandoned me or my decision. I love you guys and you people know who u are, and for those that words shall not mention, for the record I am seriously happy now so please be happy for me and not discuss why am I happy.. Human beings are made to move and not come to a standstill. Weird isn’t it?? But if Singapore is not a free country at least the minimum thinking is right?

I must apologize to my parents who had their guts worried out over my irresponsible actions over the year. I guess the devil took over.. but all is good now with the help of some curfew *yah yah laugh your heads off* :p

Curfew? Hmm.. sounds quite foreign to some of u right? But anyway I am now in a very happy relationship where things are more in control. Weird to be saying this but I fit in quite quickly into this one. Shall see how things turn out. *cross fingers*

I am tired very tired in fact over my job. I know that I always complain but nowadays its getting quite bad. I need a boost to life and in order to get that new boost of life, I would be taking up a degree course. Not a very good market to get out now, so guess I will continue to be depress over the next 1 – 2 years :D

Resolution For Year 2009
1) Be a more sincere person.
2) Be a more responsible adult
3) Save more $$$
4) Buy lesser bags vs 2008
5) Work hard for my future in order to get out of the RUT!
6) Exercise more??
7) Pick up a new hobby or sport
8) Be a more useful person
Hmmm…. Guess its all seems quite unachievable. Haha.. but I shall try.
